The Pure List of Thankfulness

24.11.2020

While we’ve had extra time on our hands we thought we would compile the easy, low-cost day-to-day rituals that have been keeping us sane and productive in the hopes that they may help you feel more comfortable.

The Pure List of Thankfulness

Although you might not be feeling especially thankful in 2020, you can at least be grateful that this year is almost over. As we fire up the ovens and break out the Christmas lights, it’s the time of year where we gather, even if it’s virtually, and reflect on the year that was…. Oooomf! But even as we begin to close the dumpster fire that has been 2020 for good, all of us at Pure have a lot to be thankful for.

Here are our top four things we are thankful for in 2020.

Hot Boys Who Wear Masks

Cheers to the hotties who make this pandemic look good! The sexiest thing to us this year is when a man puts the health of those around him first. We stan all you boys masking up and getting on with life responsibly. Wearing a mask may sound like a no-brainer to you, but not everyone else is as smart and sexy as you. So this Thanksgiving, we raise our glasses to you smokin’ Turkeys who are so hot, we only need to see your eyes to know we want to see you naked!

Parks! Parks! Parks!

We don’t know what we would have done this year without our beloved green spaces. Our city parks have given us a beautiful place to see our friends and family while staying safe and socially distant. This year has helped us find a newfound appreciation to our beautiful outside havens that we definitely took for granted before. Who is up for some wine and cheese in the park!

Our Friends in the Service Industry

Of course, those in the medical industry are absolutely our heroes. But there are some other heroes we are thankful for, and those are the ones who went back to work and are braving the food and beverage industry during a pandemic. Let’s face it, we survived this far due to take out margaritas and tacos delivered to our door. To all of the servers, bartenders, and delivery drivers that have been a part of our daily lives, we are eternally grateful.

The LGBT Community (Yeah, you!)

COVID has made us realize just how desperate we are to be among our brothers, sisters, and non-binary family members who make our rainbow brighter! Honestly, it is a privilege to be a part of the LGBT community and we cannot wait until we get to see all of your beautiful and unique faces soon. We can’t say it enough, we are thankful for you!

The extra downtime could be a great way to take care of your skin and pamper yourself
